Asian inspired and anatomically targeted massage with special focus on opening the arches of the feet.
This combines strokes from Thai foot massage with my own style of gentle joint movement and myofascial spreading strokes to open up the whole foot and ankle.
The foot and ankle is a complex structure of 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, and 19 muscles. As I massage your feet and calves, I am working to relieve tightness in these muscles and maintain mobility in these joints.
My style of foot massage is not reflexology: it is not based on an internal organ correspondence theory, nor have I received advanced training in that modality. I am focusing on nothing more than the anatomical structures of the foot and lower leg, but it's enough to do wonders for tired, achy feet.
